Read the license for each font

A font’s price, name, or inclusion in a collection does not describe all the permissions you receive. Each detail page links to the exact license that accompanies its original file.

Different questions need different answers

Free to download: A price. It does not, by itself, specify rights to use, modify, embed, or redistribute a font.
Use: Check the license for use in your documents, artwork, products, and commercial work.
Embedding: Check the terms that apply when a font file is included in a website, app, or document.
Modification: Changes may carry requirements, including naming conditions or notices that must be preserved.
Redistribution: Sharing the font file is different from sharing an image made with it. Follow the file’s license and keep required notices.

What we preserve

Each download contains the unchanged original font, the full license and copyright notices, and its source record. OFL fonts and Apache-2.0 fonts have different terms; consult the actual file included with your download.
